I found I had taken a screenshot of the QR code when I first was asked to setup 2fa on my old phone, and that QR code still works (the link the BA send from
[email protected] had expired).
When your wife tries to login, in the options below authenticator OTP in blue, can she see 'use fingerprint or facial recognition'? That should be stored/authenticated by the device.
The only option are Authentication App (which doesnt work) or recovery code (which we don't have).
I guess I need to phone BA. Something is not working properly. I'm just worried they will close her account and loose a heck of a lot of avios (and status). How can this be such a mess.
Other option is how to get the 'recovery code'?
