I fly on both sides of the curtain- Business Class, mostly paid, on long hauls. It costs a boatload more and, IMO, we're paying for multiple perks including early boarding, (slightly) better food, bigger seats and a lower ratio of passengers to lavs. If you're in Coach can't get to the lav in Coach and you're 7 months pregnant, have a barely toilet-trained 3-year old who's gotta go NOW, or you're coming back from India and your Immodium hasn't kicked in yet, use whatever lav is closest- but otherwise wait your turn in Coach.

Having said that, I would never have a meltdown over it.
