JAL clearly shows infants in the seat map before someone commits to purchase a ticket. If they have a problem with it they should pick another departure date or carrier, or fly private as suggested above.
I make absolutely no apologies for taking my child to meet her grandparents for the first time using a form of public transport. If JAL had released J awards we might have considered those, but only F was available. It was a tough decision.
P.S. My infant's ticket was $6 AUD through QFF

How did you get the lap infant ticket at $6? Ive been reading it should be 10%!
