My first thought was that they were apologizing for being early :P (perhaps channeling a bit of https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-42009839 where a Japanese train operator apologized for being early) Though apologizing for flying Mesa wouldn't be too out of order -- TBH, though, with the exception of one captain who needs some "reorientation" Mesa out of IAD hasn't been unreasonably terrible.
