There were about seven of us misconnected to SQ34 - I think two in business class and the rest on economy. Interestingly a guy that I met back at the hotel said that exactly the same thing happened to him a few months back on SQ519-->SQ34 and regardless he chose SQ and this connection again. I answered back that I learned my lesson and I will never do that again.
oh well. How entitled one can be! Hundreds of passengers should be held for the about 7…., I would say, for minimum half hour?
If the airline holds the flight, it is a courtesy. If it does not, there is nothing wrong. More passengers could be impacted by holding the plane.
