From the UA website, I don't see much I can purchase on his behalf to make up for the difference. his reservation shows offers for wi-fi and award accelerator. his PQP offer under award accelerator is $1,040 for 700 PQPs, that's overkill for Gold status. He can also buy 13,000 award miles for $319. that's doable, but does it count? does wi-fi purchase count? Any ideas? TIA
