I thought it was the other way round, and that Panasonic eX3 is the newer IFE system which is why it was an anomaly that it was installed on the LGW VIIx aircraft but the Thales system was retained on the LHR VIIx (and G-RAES). I'm happy to be corrected on this of course.
My mistake - I thought the Panasonic system that went into the LGW fleet was older and the B77M Thales system was an upgrade! In that case the three LGW orphans will definitely keep their existing WTP and WT systems!
