Read above---you were warned. Don't stay there. They won't learn that treating customers well is actually good for business until their occupancy falls off a cliff due to their utter disdain for Marriott Bonvoy elites.
Marriott has no interest at all in holding them accountable either. Front desk staff and the managers seem to have been trained in Soviet era hospitality schools.
