Thanks Fabo.sk The Google search got me a 24 hour trip to Salzburg. And in a nice way a plane plus train was a good experience. The total of 160QPs posted as expected (so a new SEN!).

Salzburg was a delight. The only downside was the convoluted change of “airports” which was far from the smooth affair promised by OS/OBB. I had to get a train from VIE to Wien hbf and then the train to SZB and the same in reverse. Not at all clear.
