they have been doing a general promotion of using t5b both landside and airside. I don’t think it’s particularly pushed hard tho, and I am not sure they are explicitly telling people at check-in your flight will go from b so you should use the GC there.
personally I think if people were told your flight will definitely go from c and you should use the lounge there, they would most likely go to T5C. So I don’t agree it would make not much difference - especially considering how many J passengers there are per a380 which would be pretty much certain to depart T5C.
