Can confirm. A couple of years ago I underestimated the time to get through non-Schengen passport queues at LIS and they closed the (bus) gate a minute before I got there. Luckily they gate staff gave me a BP for the next flight which was only a couple of hours later, but it was frustrating to have been in the airport in plenty of time and still missed the flight.
