Been to Bangkok fairly often, and was previously a frequent visitor to the Sheraton Grande & Athenee. As my loyalty to Marriott has faded, looking at a few of the higher end options to visit with my 3 year old toddler and wife. We are visiting some friends living between Lumphini and Benchakitti Park in mid January. Some things that are important are a top notch breakfast buffet (enjoy asian options and good coffee), a decent pool, a larger room size so the little man has some space to move and good service.

I liked the look of the Sindhorn Kempinski (specifically the "grand premier room") the most and am leaning that way. Ideally like to keep it below $400 / night. Other contenders are the Waldorf Astoria, Park Hyatt or just retreating back to The Athenee where I can shell out for an Athenee Suite and have breakfast/lounge benefits within budget. Would love this threads thoughts!
