New to the transferring miles to partners with Chase method, as I just booked flights with miles over the years. Looking to go on my honeymoon late June-July 2025. Only flexible by a couple days each way as I am in school so can't delay too much. I was also being optimistic about Chase having the bonus offer for transferring miles to AF but currently it's 1:1. However, Virgin Atlantic has a 40% transfer bonus.

I have about 175k Chase points (CSR) but will have around 200k by February 2025 so was hoping to snag a couple J seats from LAX-CDG and back from Amsterdam-LAX, but totally fine with economy. Currently, AF has economy seats for 20k + $127 per ticket (no checked baggage) from LAX-CDG on the exact date we were planning to go. Think it's worth it to wait for J seats with this current economy deal?

Virgin Atlantic has the same flight for 25k + $157, but includes free checked baggage. I haven't read anywhere what the lowest mileage booking is for this flight. I've seen that AF is usually 20k for economy one way.

Any suggestions?
