Two thoughts on D1 lounge at SEA:

1. If a D1 lounge opens at SEA, I hope it will not mean that they down-level the services and offerings at the Delta Sky Club.

2. Does Delta really have enough long-haul international service out of SEA to justify a D1 lounge? TO my knowledge, the nonstop destinations with D1 (or equivalent) cabins served by Delta and SkyTeam partners are AMS, CDG, LHR, PVG, ICN, HND, and TPE. Let's say there are 35 business class seats on each flight. That's about 245 passengers a day (and that assumes all these destinations fly 7 days a week, which is not true, though that is counteracted by some destinations like AMS getting two departures a day during some seasons). And of course not all of them will use the lounge. SO is that enough critical mass to run a lounge?
