Not sure how it is measured: the actual bed portion (ending at edge of leg rest) or to the end of the footwell. If later, then given the tight footwell, it could be 10” deeper, but if you can’t fit your feet into that space, it isn’t really a benefit.

I’m not 6’ tall, and never had problems with the row 1 seats. Did have issues with row 2-4 though.
I also don't know how it's measured, but row 1 does feel qualitatively shorter. I also have no trouble utilizing the thin part of the footwell in other rows as a side sleeper though. I would generally prefer a Row 1 window over another one despite the shorter pitch, but it's not a strong preference.
