Previously, you could pay 15,000 points plus $75 to get an upgrade for multiple segments (theoretically). If this concept is going away, does that change the strategy/value of SWUs? Typically, SWUs are considered most useful for international, but it seems like SWUs might be more useful than before for domestic upgrades if the alternative is more miles or $$ for multiple segments.
