This is really simple: the fare paid entitles the passenger a defined amount of space. Not one inch more. If that amount of space is insufficient, then the passenger needs to buy two spaces or pay for an extra space seat in a premium cabin. The airline should not give that passenger extra space for free as that would mean that all the other passengers are subsidizing that freebee. Nor should other passengers be forced to have intrusions on the space that their tickets entitled them to receive. How hard are these concepts to understand???? Sadly, too many people think that they should get things for free....extra space at no cost to them.
