Particularly interested in the onboard soft product and arrival/departure experiences. I’ve read the departure situation can be a bit kafkaesque with multiple layers of, at times, duplicative document checks, and including exit customs.

We’ve already decided to buy fast track for the arrival for our trip in December to mitigate what’s reputed to be multi-hour queues. For the departure, I’ve not been able to ascertain what degree of fast track may be included for J pax or *A Gold. Can’t find reports on lounge access either, and I’m afraid UA may be a cheapskate here.
It's been about 8yrs since I've been there but it certainly didn't take multiple hours. I recall a fairly small airport and pretty simple to traverse.
Exit customs, then a quick check of your stamp not unlike many other airports in the world. I remember the guy even commented (only one day?) as I only stayed one day.
I don't recall a lounge
