Just completed my trip and thankfully I did not need to find out if I would be protected. The inbound flight was almost thirty minutes early so I had a lot of time between flights. All four of my flights were at least 10 minutes early and I had an empty seat next to me on each flight so the four segments in a row wasn't too bad.
