With respect, I think most responders are missing the point
Have we forgotten about ethics?
The "people are willing to pay for it so the airline is justified doing it" is a black and white, narrow, rigid, inflexible response to the original poster
Industry standards need to be considered
The ethics of the fare paid given the sub-standard product (both hard and soft) in relation to this fare on the A330 vs the 738 and the deterioration of this carrier on multiple levels over the last few years are worthy of validation
The ethics of the slavish commitment to the shareholder/executive vs a customer-focused agenda is the cornerstone of what this airline will never resolve
I understand the disappointment of the customer in relation to their investment
