I read like everyone else, that the op wanted a 330 for the flat seat, and was disappointed on getting a 737 with essentially a PE seat. In which case neither VA nor JQ offer a flat seat. So with relevance to the actual question, I am not sure of why you imply that VA and JQ have flat seats?

what’s wrong, nothing except they do not have flat seats, so the only way to get a flat seat other than the QF lottery is SQ or NZ - or other rather convoluted routes to the east coast.
