Easy in one word. Mid Oct was still fairly busy in Oia and Fira but not bad. Flying J on BA helped as they did have CW lane and we were first to be helped. Pretty long line had formed in Econ before they opened so happy I was in J. Security took minutes. I think our flight leaving in evening, 6 pm helped as there’s a lot of flights in the 11-2 range and I’m sure busier. Airport also seemed fair fresh and air conditioning was pretty good…..unlike our Heraklion experience, what a mess that place is.

There were two areas where you had to go through passport control, downstairs and also far end just passed restaurants on ground level. We left from downstairs gate, there was a small snack bar and some duty free shopping downstairs after passport control, seemed nothing upstairs.
