While I'm excited about the first-class experience on JAL and this is the most important sector, I was hoping for a non stop flight from ORD to DCA or even a more timely direct routing between Chicago and DC.
What are the chances that AA might change the ORD/Cleveland/DCA routing to either a nonstop ORD/DC or a more direct ORD/DCA routing? Has anyone had success making similar routing changes on a reward ticket? All suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.
At some point, there will be a change on the AA flights. Once you see a change, call up and tell them you want to change to your preferred routing. In my experience, on award tickets they are pretty flexible and will make the change for you when the changed flight is on their own metal. You will likely not get an email alerting you to the change so check on it every so often.
