I personally wouldn't recommend it. No wildlife. No signature restaurants to speak of. No sandy dunes (think pebbly, rocky, and relatively flat desert for miles and miles). The resort itself is quite pretty with a great pool + swim-up bar and good service, but then you can get that in dozens of other properties that don't require you to drive out for 80 minutes for.

YMMV though, cos I've met plenty ppl who really enjoyed it.
