I've never heard of anybody doing anything like this. You could charge a boatload of refundable tickets on your credit card and then get them refunded after July once you have your CP. However you'd have to pay off your CC with your own money and float the money for several months...........so don't use that strategy with USAir or a similar bankrupt airline. Or you could take the easy way out and use the Hertz Quadruple credit promo for the next month. It really is dirt cheap (almost free) if you take advantage of this on the weekend. I just did it and it cost me $46 for 2 RR credits and I got a rental car for 2 days. Or you can take the other easy way out and stay at a Choice hotel, make it a cheap phantom stay if you must. Those options are much easy and (possibly) cheaper than going through the hassle of maxing out your CC every month to get to 100 credits. I'm sure there are some other good ideas in the FAQs above as well, maybe more people should read them as questions about how to get those last few credits to get an award/CP always seem to come up here................
