I experienced CI this month, and it's quite competitive with BR. The (favorable) schedule is similar, the CI food on board is better, the CI lounge experience in TPE is better. The only thing I missed on CI compared to BR was pajamas in J.

My point? I hope at least one airline other than BR makes a long-term go at this route. (And as a matter of personal preference I hope it's one that keeps the ~1am SEA departures, i.e. not DL.)
