Perhaps true, but I would observe that if you are coming from the US or most other Marriott hotels then even the cheaper
Gallerie Cafe will blow your mind in terms of variety and choice (e.g. kids play area with candy floss, egg chef, multiple cuisines, there must be at least 40 different dishes on offer across the 4 different areas with a buffet set up) vs a US lounge with eggs, bacon and cereal, plus maybe fruit if you're lucky. I believe that the two persons without the lounge access could also eat here quite happily for paid money, so all four could eat together
However, I could interpret the post as being "trying to get 4 for 2 free breakfasts by splitting into 2 parties and going to two places", which I think won't work in this case, as all 4 of you are trying to get into the same restaurant (i.e. the lounge replacement) with the same room number, and it's Japan, I am sure they'd notice. Hence you may want to check out a rate that includes 2 breakfasts at least.
Unfortunately I can't really comment otherwise as I've never stayed at the Hilton - but I haven't found the standard Sheraton rooms that bad, whilst they're old they are looked after and you are staying here to go to Disneyland, so you aren't likely to spend very long in your room anyway.
