update: got to the counter and they were able to rebook me to la guardia (I was initially set for ewe which was my preference but no availability). They also gave me a 2500 yen voucher for food. Does anyone know where I can use this voucher?

update2: I was able to use the food voucher on a sushi joint inside the airport. Amazing tuna!

p.s. everything they say about the Ana lounge udon is true. It’s one of the better udon I’ve had.
