I was able to score one of those flight deals for business class from Tokyo to Toronto a few months back via air Canada. I separately booked a flight from Toronto to NYC on a separate ticket (but also via air Canada, but this flight is economy if that matters at all). I gave myself 3 hours to land at Toronto and get my check in luggage and hop on my flight to NYC. However, I just received 2 updates stating that my flight has been delayed by 2.5hours which makes it impossible for me to catch my next flight. What can I do here?

forgot to mention the flight is leaving in 8 hours.
