I got a $1000 voucher from Iberia for spending $30,000 on the Chase Iberia credit card. I had these vouchers in the past and had no problems. This voucher expires on July 2, 2025. I tried to use the voucher code on both Iberia.com and Iberia.com/Chase10 websites. The reservation was for two persons (including me as the card holder). The ticket was a return one for the Iberia flight Chicago to Madrid. Each time I get a message "We are sorry, but this promotion has ended. The discount voucher cannot be used; you can continue with your purchase without a discount". Contacted Iberia support, they advised me to submit a ticket which I did. The answer came with generic info how to get a voucher during the pandemic time and how to get a voucher for a flight booking you can't make. When I check the voucher using the Iberia voucher tool, it displays the info that the voucher is good and can be used till July 2.
Any ideas what could cause this message? I assume Iberia had not finished this promotion and vouchers can be redeemed. re sorry, but this promotion has ended. The discount voucher cannot be used; you can continue with your purchase without a discount
