I'm looking at possibly flying TK for the first time. One of the things I'm confused about is the change fees.

So economy-promo would require only the fare difference to make changes (it looks like..), while the semi-flex (which is substantially more expensive) requires 50 euros plus the fare difference. That sounds odd to me, and makes me think that the actual change fee for the promo fare would be different. No details seem to be available when selecting the flights however. The hover-text is the same for both types, so obviously wrong for the semi-flex one, so not sure if that is to be trusted?

From what I understand *A does not get free seat selection. However I did see this popup:

The flights selected is a roundtrip with layover at IST, so 4 segments total. Meaning that, if I understand this right, for 117 euro I'd get an empty seat on all four segments, seat selection and extra luggage. The terms seem to limit that to checked luggage only which I would get through Gold status anyway (extra hand luggage would have been useful). Assuming that 'regular' seat selection would also be 15-20 euro per segment (assumption), having 4 segments, the free-seat option does sound a lot better as the price difference is minimal.

Anything specific to know about this service? The aircraft types are A321, B737-900, A330-300 and A350-900. Are operational upgrades (and/or paid upgrades close to departure) still offered to pax that have purchased an extra seat?
