My guess is they might have more compelling reason to try to roll out their premium credit card with lounge access closer to Feb when Lounge prices go up as the Citi Aadvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard's annual fee of $595, $120 in Grubhub credits, $120 in prepaid Avis/Budget rentals (and $120 in Lyft if you use it more than 3x a month) is a no-brainer for Lounge+ (even with the elite or BofA $100 discount). Makes dumping Amex Platinum an easy choice (I rarely find Centurion Lounges pleasant unless I'm lucky enough to be departing at a time that doesn't coincide with a bank of flights, and Clear has only been a shorter wait once for me in the past 3 years lol).

I submitted some comments about SFO Alaska Lounge food offering now that the priority pass lounge next to it has a lot better food. The advantage SFO Alaska Lounge has is it's spacious and not as jam packed as the priority pass lounge, but the food doesn't come close (and I'm not picky about food or a foodie). My hope is the $45 increase can fund better food versus just inflation on current catering/leases/wages.
