BTW Lounge+ memberships/renewals can still split payments with a workaround. You simply join/renew at the Lounge level online and call to upgrade to Lounge+ later (there is no requirement to use the same card you joined/renewed with as you may have closed that account).

I think the better question is, if you renew at the Lounge level with Amex Platinum to trigger their $200 credit, will you still get the $100 Alaska Visa discount on Lounge+ when you call to upgrade? Maybe someone who has paid for Lounge+ using their Alaska Visa could comment on this. Does it appear as a $100 credit on your statement from BofA or did Alaska simply offer lower pricing for the Lounge+ charge in the first place? Might be better to hear from a non-elite, since all elites are still being given lower pricing without need for the Alaska BofA card until Feb when the 30k EQM requirement kicks in. Or do elites who use the BofA card see it as a statement credit?
