We'll be traveling late next week. As I currently don't have an AA card with free bag, I am debating what AA cards to apply (Citi AA Platinum, Barclays Aviator Red or Citi AA Executive). If I were to apply for the Citi AA Executive and got approve instantly, will I get the card in time to access the Admiral Clubs? Do I need the physical card or can the "access" be link to my boarding pass/tickets?
