To close the loop.

Agoda "admitted" that their "travel partner" who had supposedly made the reservation had actually not done so.
I filed a dispute with my credit card company as several weeks later they have still not refunded me.
Hopefully this was an anomoly. But this is the first and last time I use Agoda...
