Overall, it wasn't too bad. Noise was barely audible in the room. Could easily hear it from the balcony, but wasn't too loud. Pools, lagoon, and beach were all fine.
Worst of it was after a couple of days, the toilet's tank lever broke and they didn't have any equipped to fix / replace it.
The bidet was "broken" from the start as well (would always make a loud noise when plugged in, so I only plugged in as needed), and again, no one to replace it because they had no one who could shut off the water (feels unwise?).

The self serve floor for amenities didn't have smaller towels or body wash / shampoo / conditioner. Plenty of large towels, just need to grab them before the evening.
They ran out of caffeinated coffee partway through my stay and I never saw it refilled.
I was able to call guest services and promptly get replacement body wash.

No room service during the stay but didn't need it. Most people left trash outside their room and it would eventually get picked up, but we just went to the amenity floor and dropped it off there ourselves.
Could hear the "Local 5" chants every time you leave / enter the tower.
Overall, the stay was fine. But if it's your first time in Hawaii I'd try to stay somewhere else if you can. I know Hilton ain't really helpful here.
Feels bad that this time her parents came along and it was their one (and possibly only) time in Hawaii.
Thanks for the update.
