I will be returning to my favorite city in Japan and will be at the Doubletree Kyoto Station next month for 3 nights, and now I am very much looking forward to it. Hopefully, I will get upgraded to something nice as a Lifetime Diamond member?

It’s good to hear about the proximity to Kyoto Station as we will be coming in from Kanazawa and then headed to Osaka afterwards. Also know that it’s near Don Quixote where my wife likes to shop at. And it’s not too far from my favorite restaurant, Roan Kikunoi, with its incredible kaseiki menu.

BTW, the cost of hotel rooms in Kyoto is so high these days. I am paying almost as much at the DT as I will be paying at the Ritz Carlton Osaka!
