Missing Avios claim form chucking an error
So I am trying to claim double tier points for a BA holiday as it's over 14 days since I returned. I went to my booking, retrieved my ticket number and put it into the claim form. When I clicked "Continue" I got the following error message:
"You can claim missing Avios 3 days after a flight has departed, and up to 6 months after this date. Please check the details on your ticket match the ones in your Executive Club account to claim"
I have been back to the e-mail several times and double checked the date: the return leg landed 10th October 2024. I have done a combination of typing the ticket number in and copying/pasting and tried several times. I have the 125 in the first box and the rest of the ticket number in the second box. I'm pretty sure I've eliminated user error here (but please someone do point out if I've done something stupid!) Has anyone else encountered this error? Shall I just try again in a day?
I'm just waiting on a few things with BA at the moment not least of which is validation of some medical documents so I can change some flights without a change fee (they state 72 hours for that but I sent them across on Sunday and despite chasing several times I've heard nothing - anyway - that's a different moan for another thread I'm sure!)
