Due to unfortunate circumstances, I ended up with more SQM than planned. Currently 27562, but have YYZ-HND-YYZ in PY, YYZ-YVR-YYZ in Y Flex, and 1k SQM from 5k in CC spend. Should end up with 47839.5 (47840 i guess?). SQD not an issue.

Currently 35k. Figured I'm basically at 50k, ~2161 SQM feels worthwhile chasing considering the benefits jump (mostly interested in *AG). Have 1 EU trip planned for early next year (various, will involve at least NA-EU *A flight, and 1 or 2 intra-EU flights), likely to do a US trip, and possibly one more international trip. Plans not yet defined.
Maybe to start, is it better to have the 12k SQM roll over (with premium CC benefits), or just shoot for the stars?

Upfaring YYZ-YVR-YYZ not in consideration due to how expensive it is for a RT J for the dates I have (my dates are not flexible for this trip). Upfaring YYZ-HND is also decently expensive (over $2500).

Goal is to really spend as little as possible, with as little time as possible to get the last 2161 SQM.
Really the question I have is this: YYZ-YXE-YYZ, YYZ-YQR-YYZ work for me (right within the distance band in Y Flex). I was looking at booking same day, same aircraft return (e.g. book the return flight on the aircraft that takes me to YQR/YXE).

E.g. I can take this for $405 all in:

Is this a stupid idea? I'm going to have just a backpack, and I take neither YXE nor YQR are particularly busy. I understand I'll have to clear security (have Nexus, though that doesn't matter at YXE I believe), but with just a laptop and phone it shouldn't take particularly long?

Departure Airport: YYZ
Miles Needed (SQM): 2161
Segments Needed (SQS): 26

Maximum Budget: $500 (realistically "as low as possible")
Available Travel Dates: Tues/Thurs/Fri/weekends (too many bullet holes in my calendar, general idea is "flexible")
