but everyone's patience levels are different, so I get your frustration about the interruption to our grubhub credits.
just seems like it's not worth *me* getting worked up about it; citi has taken care of my account things/issues pretty generously over the years, but sounds like they haven't for you.
I hate to come off negative, and this is way worse. But I just dealt with GrubHub customer service addressing my order made to GrubHub but my card being charged to another third party supplier (who I never even gave my card number to which really infuriates me.). I don't think somebody could get drunk enough and be dumb enough, at the same time, to give worse help than I received from GrubHub in an attempt to fix this. What makes it worse is that Citi will not want to charge back the supplier since they delivered the goods. Grub Hub has no incentive to fix the problem aside from getting a bunch of 10 dollar sales. Citi will not want to reimburse the charge with the GrubHub credit because they have no idea who these third party suppliers are that the Grub Hub purchases are coming up under. I see a mass of 10 dollar CFPB complaints coming.
