Have had some polite, but firm, discussions with the CSR concerned to transfer to a supervisor if they didn’t hold the necessary authority to waive the service charge.
Some CSR are proactive, many not so much.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor declined to waive the fees. I suppose I could go the route suggested above to get the fees waived, but I probably will just move on with my life.
