Back and beyonds are on-carriage flights on joint business routes, where most of the trip is joint business but there is a tacked on sector which isn't formally in the joint business sector. You were nearly in this with DCA but that's part of WAS so inside the JBA.
For the DUB cancellation, BA will usually just remove DUB-LHR for you and not recalculate - that's easy to do. But you can certainly change it to BHD and other UK domestic locations if you prefer.
