Ms. dave1013 is headed for Florida this morning. Has to spend tonight in SEA thanks to recission of the early-morning JNU departure. She decided to test out her electronic bag tag (EBT).

When checking in yesterday for the first segment (JNU-SEA), the EBT displayed SEA-TPA-SEA, which seemed odd because she is only going as far as SEA today. But I thought, it is simply showing a summary of the entire itinerary and her bag would only go as far as SEA (setting aside her 21-hour layover that would necessitate her retrieving her bag at SEA regardless). The display was therefore somewhat meaningless, in my pea brain.

When she got to the airport this morning, the agent said the EBT's don't work and printed out a paper bag tag. Not happy with this given the amount of money paid. I've read earlier/dated posts that appear to describe similar experiences. Has anyone had success with these things?
