Looks like Aer Lingus uses the same IT (in)capabilities that BA does to code their systems for BPs. Though I suppose I have rarely expected a problem in the UK (apart from at MAN of course) I do find it safest (especially at some outstations) to get a paper BP and ensure it says FastTrack on it.
