Main thing I'm not sure about is if the 15-watt MagSafe charging will cover most scenarios, where the goal is to get 100% in the morning. Wonder about the heat.

The real test is when I travel, I am also charging my M4 iPad Pro (13-inch), the iPhone and Watch on that 4-port 65-watt PD charger as well as occasionally charging one of the AirPods Pro cases.

So if this wireless charger is charging the iPhone, Watch and maybe AirPods Pro, maybe it doesn't have enough juice to fully charge the iPad Pro at the same time overnight.

Worst case, I can use another charger to offload some of the charging, though often these places you stay in might have one outlet bedside or not one at all.
I've been using wireless charging since the Samsung Galaxy S3 days. We have 10 wireless chargers in the house. I've used slow wireless charging stands like this one for years on our bedside tables.

If I were to plug it into a QC3 charger, it could fast charge, but I don't want it to. With a slow charger, it takes 3-4 hours to go from 15% to 80%, which it totally fine since I'm sleeping 5-7 hours.

At my WFH desk, I have this 3-in-1 charging station for my phone (Galaxy S23), earbuds (Galaxy Buds+), and watch (Galaxy Watch 7). You obviously could use a similar one for your nightstand.

When charging all three devices at the same time, it doesn't fast-charge the phone, but if I take either the watch or earbuds off, it will start fast-charging. Edited to add: I tested it again just now and it does fast-charge the phone. There are plenty of similar ones for the Apple ecosystem.

But my favorite traveling charging device is my folding 3-in-1 charging pad. I just lay it fully flat in my cable/charger portfolio.

I use a QC3 wall wart and place it on the nightstand at the hotel. As soon as I retire to the hotel for the evening, I put my watch and earbuds on the charger, then my phone when I go to bed (and put my watch back on). Again, tons of similar devices for Apple ecosystem. I have a separate 65W GaN charger on the hotel desk for my two laptops and tablet. I don't care if they charge slowly overnight--they're all back to 100% in the morning (tablet is restricted to 85%).

All of these devices produce minimal to no heat (unlike the wireless charging pad in my VW ID.4--which was extremely disappointing). I didn't put any links because they're easy to find on Amazon. Just read the reviews and try it out.
