Today I was trying to add something to a priority reward that required manual repricing (via ticketing). I have YYJ-YVR-FRA booked, and I wanted to add CGN-IST-SZF.
My understanding and experience was that each PR can have up to six one way bounds on it, and open jaws were ok. However this time I was told it was not allowed to depart from CGN after arriving in FRA since it's not a co-terminal and it would need to be a separate booking. The interesting thing is I made a new booking (YYJ-YVR-FRA) and asked the agent to see if the system would allow her to add CGN-IST-SZF and it would (no manual repricing/escalation to ticketing required).
I think this is a HUCA scenario, but was interested in other peoples experiences in 2024 with open jaw multi bounds priority rewards.
EDIT: So I did HUCA, and the agent first told me it should be allowed but then said the system wouldn't price it and wouldn't ask ticketing. So I asked to just add a return to Canada on the ticket, I found a flight on the website, he couldn't see it and tried to tell me there was no space. I booked a example PNR for him, and he saw it was confused and told me to call back in the morning.
