Having said that, YYZ-NRT I would guess has similar upgrade patterns as the YYZ-HND flight I just took (described above), which means that your $$ bid is likely not going to win unless you bid close to top range... So you may as well take the instant upgrade or LMU like I did. I bid $1305/1900 and lost. Hope this helps!
PS, if you're staying in Tokyo at the start of your trip and you're flying out of YYZ, have you considered HND instead of NRT? It's much closer to the city center.
It is right now 1650 CAD to NRT from YYZ in PE on AC. Guess I will take a chance and see how it goes.
Thank you very much and sorry if I posted in the wrong thread. The PE fares were good compared to other airlines and sorry I did not know if AC flew to HND and yes I know that it is much closer to the city. I will look it up and thank you.
