I am thinking of shifting some spend to my AS Visa if I decide to switch back from AAdvantage to MileagePlan for status. Maybe they could look at the AA Executive card for some inspiration. 10X on AA Hotels and card rentals would be nice. I doubt that they would do 3X on groceries and dining (does any airline premium card have a high multiplier on everyday charges?), but perhaps 1.5X like the old, old UA Club card would be enough to make it a card that I actually carry in my wallet.

They would have to include a Club membership in some form, unless they want to leave that business to AA.

I hope they would make it a card that is of value to elites or frequent AS flyers.
