I had a legal connection today through DOH in C, we landed on time, I took the premium bus to the transit area, up the escalator and saw my flight was flagged. Now, I had roughly 30 mins to get through an empty security line and to a nearby gate, but despite my protests, QR had already pulled me off the flight and booked me, not on the next one, but on a flight tomorrow, landing me at my destination 20 hours later. The agents agreed I would have made it, but nothing they could do given the computer had already given away my seat.

Valid albeit tight connection, no checked bags, and yet here I sit, grounded, in the lounge. This is a pretty dumb process/policy.
