I have a question about the 1 EQN credit for gifting a GOH to another WOH member:

We gifted one to my sister-in-law. She called in to apply it to a reservation that she had. All good. She checked out last Thursday.

I called today to find out about the 1 EQN credit for us and was told that, in addition to:

1. Us gifting the GOH from our account
2. Sister-in-law using it and checking out

she should also have called in to add our account number to the record to get this to properly credit, i.e. that fact that it came from our account was not enough.

Is this actually the case and we are SOL on this one? Or is this incorrect information and I should HUCA?
